I have this lovely new kit in my store now, it's along the same lines as 'Prom Girl' which seems to have been well received!

I love the colors in this kit, they remind of balmy summer evenings with a glass of wine listening to beautiful music with my loved one, can you see it!

This kit was inspired by a catalog my daughter received advertising Prom dresses for this season, the colors were lovely shades of grey and dusty pink with just a touch of green. This is my Week1 submission, we were all given a pallet of white, black and green and we were to choose one color to go with it, I chose a neutral beigy/browny color!

I made it into the Supreme Team, how fabulous is that!!! Now I'm busy trying to learn how to do it all, lol .... took me forever to realise I had to have so many posts at DST before I could upload a layout? Too funny

I've been working on the lovely Collab at GDS called 'You Are My Sunshine', you can get it herefor free after spending $10 in the Store, that's great!

Now this is one huge kit that you could make dozens of layouts with, honestly!

Final Week - Supreme Team Challenge

I made it through to the final week of the Supreme Team Challenge and now I'm nervous, how will the judges ever pick 12 winners from 27??? I didn't think I would make it this far so if I'm not picked I'm good with that ... and if I'm one of the lucky ones then that will be a whole new chapter!

Anyway, this is my layout for this week, the kit is called 'Blossom' by GeniaBeana and Christy Skaggs and you can get it HERE

I had the most trouble with this layout compared to all the other weeks, perhaps it's nerves setting in or the fact that all the competitors this week are so talented .... in fact all the competitors throughout the challenge have been very talented so that can't be it! Anyway whatever happens will happen, wish me luck!

Week 2 - Supreme Team Challenge

WOW!!!! I'm gobsmacked that I made it through to round 2 of the Supreme Team Challenge!!!

With all of those talented ladies I thought for sure I would be left behind and now I'm nervous to see what kit I'll be working with this week.

On the subject of the Brownie Scraps Designer Competition, I do not think I will be continuing in this because I'm really not sure how it could benefit me to win, I'm not a designer and really have no intention of becoming one, I'd much rather use the wonderful kits of the designers already out there. So sorry if you came looking for another week's kit in the Comp .... there are others in that comp that want to win much more than I do, although it was alot of fun and I got some wonderful comments and HEAPS of views (don't know where they all came from!!) it's better to let it go.

Supreme Team Competition

I've entered a CT competition over at Go Digital Scrapbooking and there's a heap of others entered too, I truly don't know how they are going to vote on this one, we all got given a gorgeous kit to work with called 'Sew Chic' by Tricia Curtis Designs and this is what I've done with it. I'm not sure if the public will be voting or not but I'm sure I'll let you know.

Hello there, I've made a Mini Kit for the Brownie Scraps Challenge which is in it's first week. We were given a choice of two 'non-traditional' valentine pallets and asked to creat a mini kit for Valentines. I came across a Designer Competition at Brownie Scraps the other day which starts on Jan 29th and thought I may like to try my hand at it, anything for a bit of fun hey but I need some practice before I enter I think, I've only really done layouts but I have been taking notice of how things are made and visiting sites that have tutorials so why not I say ...

I made up a Sampler but it has now been removed so I'm sorry if you missed out!

I've also been very hard at work changing my Header here and my non-blinkie .. ha ha ha ha ha it doesn't blink yet because I don't know what else I want it to say!

Dreaming of poppies and other things

I've been a busy girl making some layouts, this first one is using a kit called 'Dreaming of Faeries' by 'Ramona the Pest Designs' at 'Browniescraps' which is a very easy kit to use and the site is very friendly.

And then this one is from a kit called 'Eclectic' from 'DigitalScrapping Studio', I stumbled across this site a couple of days ago now so I need to check it out more, I think it used to be a site called Stone Accents and if my memory is correct I visited there a while back.

Here's another cute kit I came across by 'Flutterbye Faery Designs' called 'Dreaming of Poppies', you can grab it from 'Brownie Scraps'.

Well I've been lurking on Digital Scrapbook sites for a few months now, taking in all the information I can and learning where I can .... practising my methods on my own layouts which I have never had the courage to upload but I think I'm now ready to face the world!!!

On this blog I will showcase my layouts and anything interesting I come across and here's my first layout made with a kit called 'Shades of Me - Happy- by Miki Ferkul, what a gorgeous kit this is.
